The Verdict: PA Youth Vote ruled
The League E-Report:
- To raise awareness and promote education on the candidates, we attended and cosponsored four debates and candidate forums, helped host one high school Mock Election, registered hundreds of new voters in Allegheny County on campuses, in high schools, in jails, and at local events, and co-sponsored events for the Super Tuesday Results Watch and the PA Presidential Debate Watch Party
- We promoted online registration through Facebook, Myspace,at local events, and on our website
- We hosted the VIP: Video Voter Guide for Allegheny County candidates in Congressional, House, and Senate races
- On April 22nd, 2008, teams of canvassers worked in low-turnout areas like Larimer, East Liberty, the Hill District, Garfield, and the Northside to Get Out The Vote
- Joining forces, we held a PA Primary results watch party and submitted updates to the iReport at CNN.com
