The PA League will be hosting our much anticipated Student Leaguer registration training at 3PM on Sunday, February 10. We changed the date from February 7th, to best accommodate all of the Allegheny County partner universities that we expect to attend. The location is David Lawrence Hall - 3942 Forbes Avenue - at the University of Pittsburgh. A special shout out goes to Amanda Reed of Pitt SGB and USSA, for reserving our location.

As you know, 2008 is the year that young and first-time voters are expected to carry the weight of our nation. Big Local 08 is an educational campaign for this critical mass of young voters, with the purpose of maximizing 2008 energy, and leveraging it into 2009 and beyond.

Our training is expected to last 1.5 hours, and will feature: a presentation about The League and Big Local 08, student working/caucus groups, and a vote for officers of the new Allegheny County Student Leaguers. Also, The League is happy to provide food for the training.
