Students Rally against Violence!
Middle school students from all over Pittsburgh have prepared speeches, dances, hip-hop songs, and arts projects against violence in their communities at this public awareness event! Come support the kids! Buses leave for downtown at 12:45 from: Gwen's Girls in Point Breeze, YMCA in Homewood, Boys & Girls Club in Lawrenceville, and Hill House in the Hill District. The Anti-Violence Youth Voices Rally starts at 1pm in Market Square! See you there!
This is the second year the Mission Discovery Summer Day Camp has put together an Anti-Violence Rally to complete their summer program. The kids all engage in discussion and make art that talks about violence in their communities.
